Cene con Amici- Dinner with Friends

I love to have friends for dinner and I normally try to cook something which can built a relaxing atmosphere.
The pictures that I will show now are related to a late summer dinner in Vicopisano, a locality in the Pisa countryside, Tuscany.
The menu was:
Appetize with an open ham springroll and salad
Soup: Beetroot sesame seeds and cream
Fish: fresh Mackerel panfried
Vegetables: mixed with pumpkin flower, panfried as well, salad
Dessert: cooked pears in sake and sugar.

Some of the recipes are already in the blog and you can use them, as you like but if you want more of them, just let me know and I will write in the blog.

Amo avere amici per cena e normalmente cerco di cucinare qualcosa che costruisca un atmosfera rilassante.
Le foto che vi mostrero' ora sono relative al una cena di fine Estate, fatta a Vicopisano, localita' nella campagna pisana, toscana.
Il menu' era:
Antipasto con un involtino aperto di prosciuttoede insalata
Zuppa: Barbabietole, semi di sesamo e crema
Pesce: Sgombro alla padella
Verdure: misto di verdure con fiori di zucca sempre alla padella
Dolce: pere cotte al sake e zucchero

Natale ma non cibo - Christmas but not food

Before Talking about my Christmas Lunch, that will be in Senegal (then no christmas!), I want to show you something that Mother Nature, gives us, if we are walking through a Tuscan forest between Autumn and Winter.
A wondeful Bouquet of galls, some are oak-gall called as well oak-apple, beautiful and with huge variety in shape and dimension.
What are galls? They are an abnormal growing of plant's tissue as a defence against a specific category of insects who sting the plant and eat, better drink the plant's lynph.
We cannot eat but we can collect them for decorating our house with some holi and golden leaves for Christmaas.

Prima di parlare del my Pranzo di Natale, che sara' in Senegal (allora no Natale!), voglio mostrarvi qualcosa che Madre Natura, ci da, se passeggiamo attraverso un bosco toscano tra l'Autunno e l'Inverno.
Un bellissimo bouquet di galle, alcune sono galle di quescia, belle e con una grande varieta' in forma e dimensione.
Cosa sono le galle? Sono delle crescite abnormali del tessuto della pianta come difesa contro una specifica categoria di insetti che pungono la pianta e mangiano, meglio bevono la linfa della pianta.
Non possiamo mangiarle ma possiamo raccoglierle per decorare la nostra casa com del pungitopo r alcune foglie dorateper Natale.
